Mainland City Centre is a large entertainment and lifestyle destination in Texas City, Texas, located along Emmett F. Lowry Expressway near Interstate 45. Formerly Mall of the Mainland, the property has been redeveloped into a mixed-use destination featuring entertainment venues, restaurants, fitness facilities, executive suites, education facilities, retail businesses, and outdoor event space.

In Business Since 1991

The property originally opened as Mall of the Mainland on March 20, 1991, after being developed by Edward J. DeBartolo and the MG Herring Group. Following declining occupancy, the mall closed in late 2014. Jerome Karam purchased the property on January 11, 2015, and began a major redevelopment, eventually transforming it into the present-day Mainland City Centre.
