Humane Society of North Texas

The Humane Society of North Texas is an independent nonprofit animal-welfare organization based in Fort Worth, Texas. HSNT works to save, shelter, protect, and advocate for animals throughout North Texas. Its services include pet adoption, animal rescue, cruelty investigations, low-cost spay and neuter services, vaccinations, microchipping, humane euthanasia, and equine adoption programs.

In Business Since 2005

The Humane Society of North Texas was founded in 1905 and is the oldest animal-welfare organization in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. Originally known as the Fort Worth Humane Society, it became the Tarrant County Humane Society in 1910 and adopted its current name in 1982. For more than 120 years, HSNT has focused on animal protection, rescue, sheltering, and adoption.
