Rescued Pets Movement

Rescued Pets Movement (RPM) is a Houston-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to giving homeless dogs and cats a second chance. The organization rescues animals from area shelters, provides veterinary care and rehabilitation, places them in temporary foster homes, and transports them to reputable rescue partners where they can find permanent homes. RPM operates from 2317 W 34th Street in Houston.

In Business Since 2013

Rescued Pets Movement began operations in September 2013 after its founders recognized that transporting homeless animals from Houston to communities with greater demand could save more lives. Its first transports moved at-risk animals from BARC to rescue partners in Colorado. Since its founding, RPM has expanded its rescue, medical, foster, and transportation network and has helped save more than 100,000 companion animals.
