SARA Sanctuary

SARA Sanctuary, meaning Society for Animal Rescue and Adoption, is a nonprofit animal sanctuary in Seguin, Texas. It provides unconditional life, food, shelter, medical care, and rehabilitation for animals regardless of species, health needs, or temperament. The sanctuary currently cares for more than 750 animals representing over 12 species and also works to place suitable animals in loving forever homes.

SARA Sanctuary was established in 1996 with a mission to provide animals with a safe and permanent home. Over three decades, the organization has grown into a large sanctuary caring for hundreds of animals, including dogs, cats, farm animals, and other species. SARA follows a no-kill philosophy and provides lifetime sanctuary when adoption is not possible or appropriate.
