Mister Sparky NTX

I originally hired Mister Sparky simply to switch out my stairwell chandelier. Jamieson Shippee showed up on time and immediately impressed me—professional, knowledgeable, communicative, respectful, and genuinely polite. He even asked whether I preferred he wear shoe covers before entering my home. Small detail, but hugely appreciated. After completing his 32-point safety inspection, Jamieson discovered some serious electrical deficiencies and walked me through three options, including the original chandelier work. Side saga: I bought this house eight months ago after being told it was a “complete remodel,” only to discover they apparently forgot the HVAC, proper plumbing, electrical work, permits, and even surge protection on any of my FIVE breaker boxes. I suppose my inspector was asleep at the wheel or it was his first day on the job—but that’s for another review. What really stood out was how Jamieson handled everything. He explained each option and the pricing clearly, answered every question, and never once pressured me. He truly listened and cared. Honestly, he felt less like someone trying to sell me something and more like a knowledgeable friend or brother helping me make the right decision. Charismatic guy, too! I trusted him and ultimately signed up for the full electrical package. What should have been a chandelier installation turned into a nightmare. The attic access required contortionist abilities, the chandelier turned out to weigh closer to 200 pounds instead of the 50 we expected, and it required hanging 15 individual alabaster globes with micro-LEDs on cables ranging from about six inches to 15 feet. Getting everything positioned correctly required patience, strength, problem-solving, and surgical precision. This was the type of project where many people would have gotten frustrated, cut corners, or simply done “good enough.” Jamieson did the opposite. He worked his tail off, went way beyond what we agreed to on paper, and cared about getting it right, not merely getting it done. I commend Jamieson and whoever at Mister Sparky hired him. You can teach someone electrical work; it’s much harder to teach work ethic, integrity, patience, pride in your craft, and genuine respect for a customer and their home. Jamieson has my respect, my trust, and all of my future electrical business. I’m forever his client. Mister Sparky found a good one.

Matthew is excellent

Matthew was a professional and most helpful electrician. He not only found the problem I had with my ceiling fan he also checked my breaker box and found another issue. Without his careful and detailed care I wouldn't have ever know about the other concern that is serious. Thank you Matthew for everything and you are a wonderful gentleman. Mister Sparky is very fortunate to have an employee on board like you.

If you want to fix an issue and understand your home’s electrical system while being treated with respect then these guys are a great choice. They aren’t pushy and make it easy to decide the right decision for your circumstance. Our tech Matthew showed up on time and respectfully. He walked me through our home set up and helped me understand how our system works along with the weak points. Professional, respectful, and fixed the issue. I can honestly say I know my homes electric setup now and have a better peace of mind of how to care for it.
